Okay so I am a true lover of making cards!! When I have no mojo and I cannot CREATE.... I make cards....its a smaller space to create on and I just feel as though the sky is the limit!! I love to try new things with cards..There was a time when I would say "Im not a card maker" well guess what Im a card maker!!! Cards are one of those things that you will always need!!!! Check out these two cards that I made using Karlas001's yumminess AKA products (LOVE) ;)

As you can tell on both I used Rina's baaaling ... that stuff is like craft crack I love it!!!!

Lots o layers of lace

A few doilies the kraft one is a MFT die

The base paper is from the Pink Paislee Vintage Vougue Collection

Followed with some twine and a Pink Paislee Tear Drop Bling

So this little card is simple but has a pretty big impact. I took the G45 trim and layered it on the card to create the background.

Beauty LO for G45

This layout is one that had been in my mind for a while; the blue polka dot paper (aka Potpouri from the fashionista line) reminds me of a old fashioned dress... just had to adorn the paper with doilies and lace!

I mounted the butterflies onto card stock (G45 stickers) so that I could curl the wings a bit for a dimensional effect

I took 4 envelopes from G45 and laid them side by side to create a boarder

Easter Cupcake Stand Tutorial

I wanted to embrace Spring and create an Eastery (dictionary.com..lol) This is the perfect center piece for a little Easter afternoon get together!! It is easy inexpensive and fun and when you add prima goodness and yummy cupcakes and thats what I call decadent FUN!!! I will show you how to do it!!

Shopping List:

3 Round Styrofoam Forms

Glossy Accents

Ribbon Spools

Paint

Boarder Punch

Paper and embelishments of your choice

Measure your styrofoam pieces

Cut desired Paper according to Measurements (I used Flights Of Fancy By Prima)

Adhere paper to styrofoam pieces ( I adhered black paper on the bottom for a cleaner look)

Cut contrasting paper into 1 1/2 inch strips

and then punch the edge with a boarder punch of your choice and adhere to the sides of each paper covered round styrofoam piece (this will hide the edge)

Stack your ribbon spools to the desired height and glue together

Now Paint and adhere spools to the center of each covered round foam circle stacking your round styrofoam pieces in tiers

Embellish and fill with yummy cupcakes

Layer Layer Layer those embelies, lace and flowers!!

You can add flair by creating flags to express fun sentiments using paper stamps and toothpicks!!

Hi Everyone, as you have probably viewed my most recent YOUTUBE video I am calling all artists to contribute their talents to aide a fellow scrap sister of ours. MsClaudia is a youtuber. i have followed her channel and been inspired from her creations for quite some time. Unfortunately, MsClaudia recently lost her husband and being a one income family has chosen to sell all of her scrap supplies to support herself as well as her six children. I wanted to help as I am sure all of you had felt the same way.

So I ask of you all my fellow scrap buddies lets HELP!! My idea is to collect ten cards from anyone who is willing to contribute. I will in turn sell variety packs of cards here on my blog all of the proceeds will be donated to Ms Claudia. My heart goes out to her and her family. My sister is one of the most Photogenic people I know! This layout to me is a fashion driven layout...I had a lot of fun creating it and doing the photo shoot afterwards!!

Quick Tip: Use Tim Holtz Photo Pin to create a customized stick pin: I took a G45 image and some glossy accents and voila.

Quick Tip 2: Tattered Angels Stencils can be used directly on Layouts! I used the Heart Stencil (cut it in half) and used Tim Holtz vintage photo and black soot distress powder and (say it with me) Viola!!

Hello my lovely dolls! Okay so SOMEONE haaaad to do it!! Someone had to compare the 3 or 4 glimmery mists out there and I of course was up for the challenge!! So the contenders are:

So alright, Im a daddy's girl all the way! I get around my dad and I seriously unage (is that a word) ... I turn 5 all over again. He is my hero and cannot do anything wrong in my eyes. I called this LO heritage I figured it was appropriate because both of the man's daughters followed right in his footsteps and joined the Airforce. Daddy was always a positive influence to us!!!! I didnt want to marry a man like him I wanted to be woman like him! Oh wow did I really just gush all over my blog! Ahhh well enjoy the LO. I hope it inspires!!!

I used a few charms and loaded the layout with black lace. Printed the pic on a transparency (Clearly I love to do this) and laid it on a piece of scrapbook paper mimicking a blueprint...curled the corners (Quick tip: if you moisten the paper it becomes super pliable..set it with hairspray to stay where you want it) prima bling and flowers and vola!

Okay okay I hope your on your way to make something.........

I participated in the tag swap and in the hustle and bustle of trying to get the tags out on time (so she didnt beat me) I totally forgot to mail my return address envelope!! Ugh!! My brain! So I had to create a diversion and this is what I came up with! So it all worked out I mailed this, and some goodies WITH my envelope and she didnt beat me!!! Yipppe! Enjoy, the site!

Okay I know that I have mentioned that I do not make cards....well it seems as though Im on a card making kick! ;) Take a peek see, I really do think that it is nice to sit down and be done with a project in a couple of hours! Check it out!

I used some Graphic 45 Le Romatique Collection, some prima bling and a flower, some lace, a transparency printed vintage ladyand a oversized brad in which I stamped (with staz on ink) the sentiment "Thanks so much".

Hey girl hey!!! So I have been working on some things in the good ole "studio" and wanted to share a Lay Out I created with the new Graphic 45 range Le' Romantique ..... the papers did the work I just added some glue :) I sent a pic of this to my sis and let her know she's been scrapped!! (Ooooo that sounds so threatening!!)

Vintage lace, G45 paper, A Madam Daphine pendant and some prima flowers and bling and you are all set ....wait...do not forget the feathers....

I printed the pic out on a transparency and adhered that to some G45 paper to add a little vintage whim to the pic

Hey ALL!!! So it has been FOOOOREVER since I have last posted ::on knees:: please forgive me! I have been busy busy busy!!! 3 minis, tags, and some other projects I have been working...(Don't worry I will share it ALL). I digress...so one of my buddies had a bday and requested (more like cursed me out because I have never made her anything.....tomato, tomaato! ) that I make something for her (or she would kill me in my sleep) So here it goes..not only did I make it I delivered it to her job with balloons (she IS my bestie by the way) OF COURSE there are chocolate covered strawberry roses in the box. So enjoy the pics....Hey and when your done ...GO MAKE SOMETHING...

I used Mariposa Paper, Tim Holtz hitch fastener, some lace and a ribbon, The box came from Michaels!

Hey girl hey! So if any of you watch my videos then you know good and well that I do not make cards, for some reason I got it in my little head that I am no good at it. Weeeelllll I may have caught the bug because after the last card that I made I have been tinkering around AND LET ME TELL YOU, I see the attraction ..... you can bust these little babies out in NO TIME! Oooooh the sense of accomplishment is ASTOUNDING!!! I dont know about you but it takes me weeks to make a mini album! So when I sat down last night and completed two cards in an hour I was literally brimming with JOY!! So I thought Id share.....the first one is made from my cricut cartridge sentimentals and the second is just some scraps I had left over from my last mini!!

Hey girl hey!! So I made a card....and before I show you ...lets just get this on the table I DONT MAKE CARDS. I am not a card maker, I love seeing other people do it, I just have never had the nack for it. Anyway so this is why I am so terribly excited about this! This is for a girlfriend of mine at work. and the last couple of pics are a box of chocolate covered strawberries that I personally dipped in chocolate and wrapped like roses! hhhmmmmm yup Im a good friend! ;) Enjoy the look see! So I got this planner for X-Mas

I loved it ....however it is just a tad to plain.... so I took this gorjus charm

and my bind it all wire cutters

Because of this little knob on the back

and then I grabbed my glue gun (in which I named Gwendelyn... (yup I name everything)

and then vola!! A 5 minute fix!!! LOVE my planner!!!

Hey hey! So I just wanted to give a little peek see at what I am working on now. I went shopping the other day for a book in which I wanted to document my goals...small ... big and so on. And I just couldnt find what i was looking for and I said to myself "What are you doing?? You cant find it because you havent made it yet....duh" So I have begun here is a little peek see. I will prob do a video once the project is complete!

Art JourAL Mondays!! ::: Always Just a Thought Away

Hey hey there my artistas!! Okay so it is that time again another Monday another art journal entry .... its love hate for me let me tell ya because I LOVE to create but the biggest challenge is confining myself at times in a box as in: On Mondays you WILL work in your art journal...dont get me wrong it pushes me and I NEED some discipline and besides once I force myself to sit and play (sounds like an oxymoron huh?) I am in the zone and in art bliss...anyway I digress lets get to it;)

So get out your fabric paint (I chose pink and soft blue) wait hold the phone gesso that page first ::panting:: I also decided at this point to modge podge a playing card just for a little dimension.. Okay so spray away dab dab dab! Then get out a script stamp and go crazy; we are building that background. Here is the fun part...get a couple of your favorite stamps I choose a bird, a clock, a corner flourish and a vine pattern (we are going to cheat!!) Stamp these on your page and then draw over them with your black charcoal (look what I drew mom...teehee). I also heat embossed a chandelier in the far right bottom corner... Grab your spray paint I choose a silver and I placed the cap of the spray paint in random places that I wanted to peek through the spray paint. Cut a few words out of a book and modge podge those down, staple half of a prima flower to the vine, draw a few circles with a gold paint marker and VOILA your done. You got messy, you cheated a little, but you created!!! Hey what are you hanging around here for go create something ;) Thanks for looking. ART for a Cause

Hey there lovlies! So I am so so tired..... but I am about to show you what has kept me up all night into the wee hours of the morning every night this week. Back Story::I created a custom Art piece for a foundation that my friends and I have volunteered to help its called "St. Jude's Heros for Children with Leukemia" Well tomorrow night we are holding a silent auction and we are auctioning off everything from football tickets to tattoos (real ones). Turns out when we all pulled our talents together it was pretty easy to scrunge up some things for the auction! So here is my donation, I hope whomever gets it enjoys. These are just a couple of pics I will post some better ones tomorrow my camera died and the lighting was TERRIBLE!!
